Why Has My Membership Level or Eligible Spend Changed?Updated a month ago
Why Has My Membership Level or Eligible Spend Changed?
Your The Interval Membership Level is based on your Eligible Spend over the previous rolling 12 months, which means your spend and Membership Level can change over time.
Why Has My Eligible Spend Changed?
Your Eligible Spend is continually calculated based on qualifying purchases made within the previous 12 months.
As older purchases move outside this rolling period, they will no longer contribute towards your Eligible Spend.
Your balance may also change following:
- A returned or refunded purchase
- A cancelled order
- Adjustments to an eligible purchase
Discounts, gift cards, shipping charges, taxes and fees also don't contribute towards your Eligible Spend.
Why Has My Membership Level Changed?
Because your Membership Level is based on your rolling 12-month Eligible Spend, your level can increase or decrease.
For example, if an older purchase moves outside your 12-month period and your remaining Eligible Spend no longer meets your current level's threshold, your Membership Level may change.
How Quickly Will My Level Update?
When you reach the spend threshold for a higher Membership Level, your account will generally update automatically within approximately 24–48 hours.
Does This Mean My Membership Has Expired?
No. Your The Interval membership does not expire unless it is cancelled or terminated.
Your Membership Level is simply reassessed over time according to your Eligible Spend.
How Can I Check My Current Spend?
Log into your IKOU account using the email address associated with The Interval and navigate to Membership Benefits to view your current Membership Level and Eligible Spend.
