Candle Care Recommendations
A little care makes all the difference. Follow these simple recommendations to get the best performance, the longest life, and the safest experience from every IKOU candle.
Before Every Burn
- Always trim your wick to approximately 5mm before lighting
- Check that the wax surface is clean and free of debris — including any previous wick trimmings
While Burning
Recommendation | Detail |

After Every Burn
- Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting or moving
- Replace the lid once cooled to protect the wax surface and preserve the scent
When to Stop Using Your Candle
Discontinue use when approximately 13mm of wax remains in the vessel. Burning beyond this point can cause the glass to overheat and may be a safety risk.
