A Note on Third-Party Essential Oils
While any essential oil labelled as diffuser-safe can technically be used in an ultrasonic diffuser, we do not recommend using non-IKOU oils in your IKOU diffuser.
Here's why:
- Third-party oils may contain alcohol, synthetic fragrance, or additives that are not compatible with IKOU devices
- These ingredients can cause internal damage, residue build-up, or reduced mist output over time
- Use of non-IKOU or non-pure essential oils may void your device warranty
If you choose to use a third-party oil, please ensure it is 100% pure essential oil with no added alcohol, carrier oils, or synthetic ingredients, and that it is specifically labelled as safe for ultrasonic diffuser use.
