Are your products safe for pets? (especially for diffusers and candles)
We love that you're looking out for your furry family members — and we want to make sure everyone at home can enjoy a little IKOU sanctuary safely.
Diffusers & Candles Around Pets
Our diffusers and candles can be enjoyed in pet-friendly homes when used thoughtfully:
- Always use in a well-ventilated, open area where your pet can move freely
- Start with shorter sessions and observe how your pet responds — animals can be more sensitive to scent than humans
- If your pet shows any signs of discomfort, simply move them to another room or turn off the diffuser
Essential Oils & Pets
We do not recommend applying IKOU essential oils topically to animals. Essential oils are highly concentrated and can be too potent for your pet's skin and senses.
Good to Know
- Every pet is different — always go with what feels comfortable for you and your fur baby
- When in doubt, consult your veterinarian for guidance specific to your pet's breed and health
